Sanloco offers the wild blessings of Oaxaca poured into every cup. Our artisanal mezcal will lift your spirits and connect your untamed soul to its humble, yet complex essence.
Sanloco’s richness and bold flavors are the result of centuries of tradition, craftsmanship and liquid heritage passed through generations of Maestros Mezcaleros that select the finest agaves and extract the minerals of the river water that flows through the mountains of the Valles Centrales region in Oaxaca.
MAESTRO MEZCALERO
Rodolfo Juan Juárez is the third generation of Maestros Mezcaleros in the Juan family and has devoted his life to working the agave fields and distilling mezcal at his single family-owned palenque. He is committed to preserving his family’s legacy by passing down the craft of producing high-quality mezcal to his eldest daughter Heidi Ivet. Their message to us:
We produce our family’s mezcal with patience and love, utilizing high-quality raw materials and the knowledge inherited from our ancestors. We take pride in our mezcal because it showcases our hard work, preserves our liquid culture and improves the livelihoods of our families and communities

OUR STORY
A friendship forged while navigating work and life in Manhattan evolved into a common passion as Fernando introduced Nazar to his country’s traditional spirit: mezcal. The story of the humble agave distillate – one deeply rooted in craftsmanship, culture, and making a mark well beyond its origins – struck a personal chord in the Mexican- and Ukrainian-born partners.
Together, they undertook a journey to marry the highest-quality liquid with a relatable brand, leading to a partnership with Sanloco’s multi-generational Maestro Mezcalero Rodolfo Juan Juárez in the remote community of San Juan del Río in the heart of mezcal country, Oaxaca.
The mission underlying Sanloco is to promote the traditions of mezcal on a global scale while contributing our founders’ experience with sophisticated sustainable business and environmental practices – all to ultimately benefit the communities that produce this unique spirit.
Sanloco is a nod to the wild blessing that brought such unmistakable quality from such an unassuming source. We thank you for joining us and hope you enjoy.
